WHEN YOU REACH FOR THE STARS DON'T FORGET WHO YOU ARE LIFE'S AN HOURGLASS PLEASE DON'T TURN AROUND AND GROW UP WAY TOO FAST Eden stepped along the side walk, her feet tapping against the pavement. Honestly, it was quite a dull day today, it was slow for a day in Hensworth. Which, isn't that slow but Eden did end up getting a break today which was a surprise. Normally her boss forgot or just couldn't net her go. Still it was a nice surprise considering most of the time she wast stuck working the whole time. Not that Eden ever really minded, she preferred to be on her feet. It was late, but the city was lit up as usual and people surrounded Eden, talking and giggling to themselves. There were plenty of people who held hands and snuggled against each other. Eden didn't know the feeling of being able to hold someone else's hands or love on another person. Things never went that far with her. But in the end Eden honestly wasn't bothered by being alone, it didn't matter to her if she was surrounded by everyone or sitting alone, it just never really bothered her. Still, things could be easier with a friend or two around, and if she could ever figure out her task she'd probably take it up. But right now she was just going to go home and lay down in bed. If she could just out of this stupid crowd. Which.. had somehow led her down a different path and now she was going to have to round back. Turning around she walked back from where she came with a soft curse under her breath. MADE BY ★MEULK OF THQ

i've never had to knock on wood THAT'S THE IMPRESSION THAT I GET “Hm... Gotta be a good place to set up shop 'round here...”
The night was young. Stars had be painting the sky for an hour, though in the sky above the city, they were more than a little difficult to see. The moon had been out even longer, but only now did it's nearly-full shape become something particularly noticeable up in the heavens. On the horizon, traces of the sun's death for the day were still visible, gold and purple streaks across a navy blue canvas. The morning crew were tucked safely in bed by then, and the night owls were starting to line the streets of District Two. It would have been easy to appreciate the beauty of the bustling streets at twilight, but all of these were signs of a never-ending night for a particular female.
In Amelia's arms was a box, large enough that it barely fit in her arms and heavy enough that it was a wonder how those arms were still managing to lift it up. A visit to the gym sometimes would probably do her good. Inside was every article of clothing she owned, aside from what she was wearing at the moment, and whatever else that belonged to her that still fit in the box. Excluding her stuffed animals, that amounted to about half of everything she owned. The mission: to sell everything that was in that box before the night was over and she would be forced to find a nice bench to sleep on. Anyone else would have recognized this as a practically impossible feat; of course, when you had childish optimism on your side, nothing could get in your way! And so, try to sell most everything she owned she would. Her only regret was not being able to sell the sofa she couldn't lift out of the apartment herself and the stuff she had to throw in the dumpster outside of the apartment complex since they wouldn't fit in the box.
The brunette worked as a waitress, which payed well enough... for a waitress job. For the apartment she had owned, she would have had to work twice as much in order to keep up with rent, her tendency to buy any plush toy she saw at the store, and everything else she deemed necessary for living. Most of it was gum and twice the amount of mac-'n'-cheese any normal person would eat. Anyone else would have seen her eviction notice coming, but being who she was, she still bawled like a baby and decided to sell all her things as to afford a new, cheaper place. Mom and Dad back home weren't going to help her, anyway.
“Riiiiiiiight... here!” she decided, dropping her heavy luggage to the ground and watching as it landed with a thud. She didn't even realize dropping it so carelessly could have broken the precious cargo within – too busy scanning the crowd around her and trying to to figure out how to get peoples' attention. Getting noticed was a key component to any good business. The first and most obvious answer that came to mind was to yell. Really, really loudly. So that's what she did. “Hey everyone, wanna buy s'me cool stuff?” What felt like a million eyes turned to face her, but not a single one of them moved any closer than they had been before. Shouting had gained attention, yes, but most people stared at her like a crazy person and continued on their merry ways. “Poopy...” she grumbled, letting gravity carry her downward so she could slump against her box of stuff. “How'm I gonna get people ta' wanna buy this...?”
Work on an individual basis?
… Yes.
Amelia decided that the first person to catch her attention would the the first person she pulled aside to show off her used goods. Confronting strangers, after all, wasn't difficult for her in the slightest. A young woman – probably a few years younger than herself? - came into view, long whiteish hair falling down her back, and the twin-tailed moron realized that this was the second time she'd seen the girl walk down that sidewalk. “Hey, Miss!” she yelled, jumping to her feet and reaching out to grab at the stranger's sleeve, hoping that would catch her attention. Beaming hopefully, Emmie practically begged, “I'm tryin' ta' sell all ma' stuff so I can get a place to stay. Wanna buy any o' it?”

WHEN YOU REACH FOR THE STARS DON'T FORGET WHO YOU ARE LIFE'S AN HOURGLASS PLEASE DON'T TURN AROUND AND GROW UP WAY TOO FAST Eden was walking only half lost for a little longer until she finally got back on the right track. Sighing softly she ran some fingers through her hair, slightly annoyed with the fact that her trip home was delayed. She just wanted to go ahead and get home, grab some tea and do some reading before bed. But even before that she was stopped by another interference. A small girl.. who didn't look like she could be much older then Eden was sitting and selling a bunch of her stuff so she could get a place to live. She looked far to young to be homeless. " Oh.. uh." Honestly, seeing someone doing this in this district was a little.. strange? This was highly tourist infested and the cops seemed to do very well on keeping the homeless out. But this girl didn't seem like a crazy one. " You.. look really young to be homeless? Do you have a job? What about your parents?" She asked, a bit worried about the girl, which for Eden was kind of strange. But she had to give credit to her, it was interesting to see a girl be bold enough to sit out here and beg. Especially one their age. MADE BY ★MEULK OF THQ
